Peter Kalangwa is a Finance and Investment
Banking Professional with several years of experience across various facets of Africa’s Financial Sector including Financial Institutions and Financial regulatory bodies. He currently Heads the Strategy Function at Housing Finance Bank.
Peter has worked with several commercial banks in Uganda to establish inclusive solutions to the unbaked majority. Prior to this, he worked with Bank of Uganda, Kampala.
Peter holds a certificate in Development Research and Economic Modelling from the Applied Development Research Solutions (ADRS) – USA and a Masters in Economics from Makerere University, Kampala. He is also a Chartered Certified Banker and a Chartered Certified Accountant (UK). Peter also holds certificates in Financial Services from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (UK), and Financial Modelling from Euromoney Learning Solutions (UK).
Peter is a Leadership graduate of the Johannesburg School of Finance, the International Development Institute – Ireland and the Kenya College of Insurance. He also serves on the governing council for the Association of Uganda Retirement Benefits and Pension Schemes (AURBPS).
